Pelly closes follow-on investment round

Twelve months ago, Pelly closed its first investment round.

At that point, we had conviction, a clear understanding of the problem we wanted to solve, and a belief that football clubs deserved better tools to run their operations. What we didn't yet have was a working platform in the hands of clubs.

Today, we've closed a further funding round, taking our total capital raised to £775,000 (just over $1 million), almost entirely from existing investors who have chosen to increase their shareholding.

That vote of confidence matters. But what matters more is why it happened.

From concept to daily use

Over the last twelve months, Pelly has moved from idea to product.

The platform is now actively used by professional football clubs across Europe as part of their day-to-day operations - supporting recruitment, squad planning, compliance, reporting, and internal collaboraiton.

This shift is important. Not because "building a product" is an achievement in itself, but because it fundamentally changes the conversation.

We're no longer talking about what Pelly could become. We're talking about what clubs are already doing with it.

Why we exist

Football clubs don’t suffer from a lack of information. They suffer from fragmentation.

Critical decisions are made across scouting platforms, performance tools, spreadsheets, inboxes, WhatsApp messages, PDF reports, and institutional memory that walks out the door when staff change. Pelly exists to bring clarity and structure to that environment.

We’re building a platform that helps clubs make better decisions, faster - by centralising relevant information, connecting it intelligently, and presenting it in a way that supports real-world workflows.

Data-agnostic by design, Pelly integrates the tools clubs already use and removes the friction that slows people down. The goal isn’t to overwhelm teams with more numbers - it’s to help them act with confidence.

What this funding enables

This funding allows us to continue doing the work that matters most right now.

Over the past year, clubs have started using Pelly not as a demo environment, but as part of their operational rhythm - to prepare for windows, align staff, track decisions, and reduce the friction that comes from working across disconnected tools.

The focus from here is simple: depth, not breadth.

We’re investing in the workflows clubs are already relying on - making them more robust, more joined-up, and more reflective of how football departments actually operate day to day. That means fewer workarounds, clearer handovers between roles, and better continuity as staff and circumstances change.

A quiet thank you

We're grateful to our investor group, particularly those who backed us again, and to the Development Bank of Wales for their continued support.

Most of all, we're thankful to the people and clubs who trust us with their workflows, their data, and their time. That responsibility is not taken lightly.

Looking ahead

Pelly is being built for the long term, for clubs who want calmer decision-making, better internal alignment, and tools that work with them rather than against them.

Because this is only the beginning.
